James Sares

I am currently a doctoral candidate in the philosophy program at Stony Brook University. I specialize in 19th and 20th century European philosophy, particularly topics in phenomenology and metaphysics.

I am working on two book length projects. The first is my doctoral dissertation, titled "The Impossible Dialectic: Existence and the Antinomies of Time." The second is a monograph on the ontology of sexual difference.
